An Independent Solar Consultant (ISC) is an experienced solar professional who acts on your behalf and is not tied to any single solar installation company. An ISC can help navigate the myriad of options and evaluate solar potential in an objective manner. Currently there are very few ISC’s available that can perform feasibility analysis for solar projects. Most solar professionals are working for solar companies intending to sell you their solution. Inviting these solar sales professionals to perform a feasibility analysis can result in great, accurate information with all potential options. However, many of them don’t have all the options to provide and won’t provide information for options they don’t offer. Hiring an ISC is the only way to ensure the information is objective and complete. Hiring an ISC also saves time and energy by reducing the amount of on site evaluations thereby reducing the amount of meetings, follow up calls and emails.
